Am I Moving People Toward Real Change?
Matthew 5:13-16 "You are the salt of the earth. But what good is salt if it has lost its flavor? Can you make it salty again? It will be thrown out and trampled underfoot as worthless. 14 "You are the light of the world--like a city on a hilltop that cannot be hidden. 15 No one lights a lamp and then puts it under a basket. Instead, a lamp is placed on a stand, where it gives light to everyone in the house. 16 In the same way, let your good deeds shine out for all to see, so that everyone will praise your heavenly Father.Colossians 4:6 Let your speech always be gracious, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how you ought to answer each person.
Philippians 2:15 Live clean, innocent lives as children of God, shining like bright lights in a world full of crooked and perverse people.
Want an exciting new career? Like to work with people? How about a job in the travel industry? Agents are needed to move people from where they are to where God wants them to be. Immediate job opportunities.
God's disciples are suppose to be agents for change, we are supposed to be working in our sphere of influence to move people toward change so that they can leave their "stumbling in the dark" lifestyle and move into the light of truth that is found in Jesus. (Proverbs 4:18-19)
God's disciples are not supposed to participate in darkness rather they should be the bright light in any room that they go into, we need to be like a lighthouse that can not be ignored, it is easy to put our light away and blend in with the rest of the crowd so I need to be careful to live as a person "in the light" so that the evil ways of the world will be exposed for what they really are. (Ephesians 5:8-14)
Thank you Lord for giving us the light of your truth, help me to always live like your child so that my testimony will not be compromised, I want to be an agent for change in this dark world.
