What an amazing Savior we have!
Isaiah 7:14 All right then, the Lord Himself will give you the sign. Look! The virgin will conceive a Child! She will give birth to a Son and will call Him Immanuel (which means 'God is with us').
It isn't difficult to realize that man will never be good enough to qualify to live eternally with God. We haven't gotten any better than the original sinners that were thrown out of their garden home. You would probably say that we have only gotten worse than Adam and Eve as their one sin has grown into a long list of sins. How can we possibly think we can be good enough to make it into Heaven without God?
All of the world religions are based on the idea that man can reach a better state but true Christ followers admit that they may become better people by man's standards but it isn't enough for God. We may become better citizens of this world but we will not be good enough to become citizens in God's kingdom.
Jesus Christ is the best Savior ever, the only real Savior, the only source of salvation that is good enough by God's holy standards. Since it is all about Jesus and his perfect goodness and it isn't about me, I can be sure that my eternal destiny is secure, without Jesus I will always fail to be good enough but with Jesus I don't have to be.

There must be a perfect Savior to meet the demands of a Holy God, the only answer was for God the perfect judge to also become God our perfect redeemer, there is no other way for us to measure up. We celebrate God with us on earth because it is the only way for us to be with him for eternity.
