So You Want To Feel Significant?

This isn't all there is, God has eternity in mind for you.

John 3:16  “For God loved the world in this way: He gave His One and Only Son, so that everyone who believes in Him will not perish but have eternal life.

John 6: 40  For this is the will of My Father: that everyone who sees the Son and believes in Him may have eternal life, and I will raise him up on the last day.”

1 Peter 2:11  Dear friends, I urge you as strangers and temporary residents to abstain from fleshly desires that war against you.

Everybody wants to feel that they are significant and that their life really matters for something, most of us fill our lives with things that are meant to help give our lives meaning, we have devised an infinite number of ways to find purpose.

There is no better way to feel significant and loved than to go back and see what our creator said about this life. The road to finding real meaning for our lives begins with understanding that when we were created God had planned for us to live forever, he had eternity in mind for us, this life on earth is a temporary assignment for those of us that belong to him. It makes you wonder why we spend so much time dwelling on the things that are of this world when our stay here is so short.

Significance can be found only in realizing that the God of the universe that declared me guilty of sin also paid the debt off himself and then declared me innocent. How could I possibly be any more valuable than that?

What an awesome God you are! I have blown it so many times and you still choose to have me be with you forever. Thank you for your perfect love!
