Caught In A Net

Fishing for all kinds of people.

Matthew 13:47-50 "Again, the Kingdom of Heaven is like a fishing net that was thrown into the water and caught fish of every kind. 48 When the net was full, they dragged it up onto the shore, sat down, and sorted the good fish into crates, but threw the bad ones away.

49 That is the way it will be at the end of the world. The angels will come and separate the wicked people from the righteous, 50 throwing the wicked into the fiery furnace, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

Just like a cast net being tossed into the sea, so it is with the gospel, the good news of salvation is tossed into the world. A world that is full of rough seas, under currents and even some tsunami's, this world is full of unrest and difficulties, but there is good news, and that good news is being sent out to everyone.

A cast net does not discriminate, the net of the gospel pulls in men from every background, without regard for race or position in this life, the gospel is out there available to everyone that believes, but when that net is pulled in, not everyone will be saved.

Titus 3:4-7 "When God our Savior revealed His kindness and love, He saved us, not because of the righteous things we had done, but because of His mercy. He washed away our sins, giving us a new birth and new life through the Holy Spirit. He generously poured out the Spirit upon us through Jesus Christ our Savior. Because of His grace He declared us righteous and gave us confidence that we will inherit eternal life."

Thank you Lord that I have been declared righteous because of the grace that came through Jesus, thats the only reason that I will be ready for the time when the angels will separate the wicked and the righteous
